Assalam-alaikam,
some excellent choices. My kids loved the Hungry Caterpiller and any Roald Dahl books including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I would also reccommend the Happy Dog, Sad Dog and Chip and Zee for very little kids. My daughetrs school are also using the Biff and Kipper books and they are good.

The islamic choices are interesting to me as its not always easy to find good islamic books that the children take an interest in.

Assalamu alaykum,
sis umm salihah, we love so many other islamic books insluding the Eeman Reading series, we have the whole collection and most of the Goodword books.

mommy hafiy, jazak'Allahu kheir for passing by and for your comment. We got the Hungry Caterpillar from the library as I think it is a good start for little ones to learn numbers. Yes the print is a bit too small.
